Sounds in Japanese - Life Sound ( Vowel Sound )

Sound of a voice that usually produced by thrilling voice membrane without clap his mouth and throat cavity are sufficient to produce a murmur of barrier sound. Regarding life sound is not voiced.

- Barrier Sound

Sound of voice which produced withy snap closure sound equipment, generally lips or tongue. For example the sound of “ t” in “ atau” or sound “p” in “ apa “, the sound of “g” in “ gigi”, and the sound of “d” in “ dia”. - Fizz

Sound of voice which is produced with narrow passage along the cavity of voice, enough to cause a murmur sound. Example “s” in “ saya”,, “sy” in “ masyarakat”, “z” in ” zat”, “f” in “sifat”. In the fizz sound there is also a fizz that voiced, such as “z” and the fizz that is not voiced, such as “s” and “sy”.

- Combination Barrier Fizz

Sound of voice which is produced by flash closure as the sound barrier, but it was quickly followed by a sound like fizz. Example the sound of ”c” in “cap”, and “j” in “jam”. Such as barrier sound and fizz sound, combination barrier fizz also consist of voiced and not voiced. The example above is not voiced.

- Nasal Sound

- Flick Sound

Sound of voice which is produced by using an instant tip of the tongue on the base of the teeth. The duration of the contact is much shorter than a sound barrier is not voiced. The flick sound usually voiced.

- Semi – Vocal Sound

Sound which is like life sound are usually accompanied by vibrations voice membrane. For example the sound ”y” in “yang” and “w” in “kawan”.
